Sunday June 22nd - Meersbrook Park at midday.
Big Sing for Palestine at the culmination of the small park Big Run weekend.

As last year and the year before that, a group of people will be singing out in solidarity (and hopefully direct contact via Zoom) with Palestinians in Gaza, showing them they are not forgotten. More details to follow, but put the date in your diary if you would like to be part of it.

Saturday September 13th
Participate in the community chorus of Seeds of Hope: A Feminist Requiem

The requiem was written by Penny Stone in memory of her amazing feminist mum, Sue Stone, and brings together the words of women from all over the world, spanning from 575 until the present day. The requiem is sung in 18 languages (you won't have to sing all of them!) and combines a variety of community choir, semi-chorus and soloist acapella singing with cello, violin, percussion and French horn. There are also some singing-together choruses for the audience to join in with that will be taught at the beginning of the concert.
